EDMUND RICE SCHOOLS TRUST COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Edmund Rice Schools Trust (ERST) is the charitable trustee of 96 primary and secondary schools throughout the Republic of Ireland. Acting as the custodian of the Edmund Rice tradition, the Trust oversees schools that were formerly under the Christian Brothers, those that have newly joined its trusteeship and schools it has established in recent years. ERST is also prepared to provide patronage for new schools where there is a recognised need for Catholic education in the Edmund Rice ethos.

The Trust delivers a comprehensive suite of support services to its school community. Its resource hub offers publications and practical tools for students, teachers, principals and parents, while its Governance team provides ongoing advice to Boards of Management and school leaders. In partnership with Ethos Development, the Finance & Property service assists schools with financial monitoring and the stewardship of assets held in trust. Central to ERST's work is the Edmund Rice Schools Charter, a collaborative framework that promotes holistic development, spiritual and moral values, and equal access for children of all faiths, abilities and backgrounds.
