Smartply Europe Designated Activity Company is a leading manufacturer of engineered wood-based panels, operating from its production and research plant in Clonmel, Ireland. As part of the Coillte Group, the company combines a strong sustainability ethos with cutting-edge engineering to deliver a comprehensive range of Medium-Density Fibreboard (MDF) and Oriented Strand Board (OSB) products for the construction, furniture and interior design sectors.

The portfolio includes moisture-resistant, flame-retardant and no-added-formaldehyde variants of both MDF and OSB, as well as specialised panels such as the SMARTPLY SURE STEP DB - a tongue-and-groove OSB/3 board with a high-performance, low-slip coating for on-site safety. For outdoor applications, the MTX system provides durable, weather-resistant solutions that enable high-performance garden buildings and cladding.
