Clifden Community Arts Week CLG

Clifden Community Arts Week Company Limited By Guarantee is the charitable organisation behind the Clifden Arts Festival, Ireland's longest-running community arts festival. Now entering its 49th year, the festival runs each September, with the 2026 programme scheduled from the 17th to the 27th, offering a vibrant mix of music, visual art, literature and digital events that aim to excite and engage audiences of all ages.

The company's core activity is curating and delivering a ten-day programme that includes concerts, book launches, talks and site-specific installations, all staged across the town of Clifden. In addition to ticketing through its box office, the festival provides visitors with curated recommendations for local accommodation, guesthouses, restaurants and other attractions, helping guests make the most of their stay in this scenic part of County Galway.

By fostering collaboration between local artists, national and international talent, and the wider community, Clifden Community Arts Week creates a platform for creative expression while boosting cultural tourism and community pride throughout the region.
