Longwood Preschool (On the Green) in Longwood, County Meath has been nurturing young learners since 2005. Operating as a fully insured, HSE‑registered early years centre, it delivers the ECCE (Free Pre‑School Place) scheme and is a proud member of IPPA. The preschool follows Tusla‑endorsed Aistear and Siolta curricula, enhanced by the AIMS (Access & Inclusion Programme) to support children who need extra help, ensuring every child receives a personalised, development‑focused education.

The centre caters for up to 66 children across three rooms (22 per room) and offers a wide range of services, including a Breakfast Club, Afterschool care and holiday cover, all available Monday‑Friday from 7 am to 6 pm under the National Childcare Scheme. Facilities feature a fully enclosed outdoor play area with soft‑surface and astro‑turf, a covered open space, a specialised indoor “kids fit‑gym”, wheelchair‑accessible routes and an Additional Needs toilet.
