Company Description

Ballycommon Technology and Training Centre (Ballycommon TTC) is a community-owned CLG that has been serving the Ballycommon, Cappincur and wider Tullamore area since 1999. The centre delivers a broad portfolio of IT and soft-skills training, ranging from basic computer and digital-internet courses to specialist health and safety qualifications such as Safe Pass, Manual Handling, First Aid Responder and Working at Heights. All tutors are accredited trainers and the centre is an ICDL-accredited test facility, ensuring learners receive recognised, high-quality instruction. In addition to classroom-based learning, Ballycommon TTC offers remote hot-desking through TheConnected Hubs Network, providing secure, professional workspaces for short- or long-term hire across Ireland.

Beyond education, the centre plays an active role in the local community. It runs a weekly robotics club for children, seasonal camps, a "Meals on Wheels" service in partnership with the HSE, and a Friendly Call Service for senior residents. Social programmes such as "Services for Older Persons" encourage inter-generational interaction and lifelong learning. With a team of ten staff members and a commitment to inclusive, practical training, Ballycommon TTC helps individuals of all ages unlock their potential and stay connected in today's digital world.
