Ballyhall Kindergarten CLG

Ballyhall Kindergarten Company Limited By Guarantee is the early-years arm of Kilkenny Steiner School, offering a Waldorf-based kindergarten for children aged two to five. Nestled in the tranquil countryside of Ballytobin, near Callan in County Kilkenny, the school creates a nurturing environment where imagination, critical thinking and the will to learn are ignited through a holistic "head, heart and hands" approach.

The programme blends multi-sensory activities, artistic expression and practical work, encouraging each child to develop their unique gifts while fostering compassion, resilience and a deep connection to nature and community. Families can also explore the seamless transition to the school's primary provision for ages five to twelve, which continues the Steiner philosophy through junior infants to sixth class.

Open days in autumn and spring invite prospective parents to experience the dynamic classrooms and meet the dedicated team of teachers who bring the Waldorf vision to life. Ballyhall Kindergarten provides a supportive, community-focused haven where young learners can thrive and embark on a lifelong love of learning.
