Lenihan Well Drilling Limited is a fourth-generation family business with more than 70 years of experience in well drilling, groundworks engineering, environmental assessments and geothermal solutions. From a single US-made drilling machine in the 1950s, the company now operates a fully mechanised fleet that includes five drilling rigs, hard-track units, excavators, skid-steers, artics and specialised camera equipment, all maintained in-house at their modern workshop.

The firm offers a comprehensive suite of services for domestic, agricultural, commercial and industrial water supplies, delivering feasibility studies, hydrogeological assessments and bespoke pump installations. Their geothermal expertise covers the supply and installation of PE100 SDR11 collector loops in a range of depths, while their environmental division provides Phase 1 desk studies, Phase 2 site investigations and detailed risk assessments, supported by low-disturbance sampling and bore-hole camera inspections. Lenihan also supplies and services all types of well pumps, offering 24-hour emergency support.
