Gort Cancer Support Group Company Limited By Guarantee runs a confidential, community-based cancer support centre for anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis in the South Galway and North Clare areas. Established in June 2007, the service operates from Hollyblue House, offering a welcoming "home from home" environment where clients are greeted by caring volunteers and professional therapists who understand the fear, sadness and isolation that can accompany a cancer journey.

The centre provides a holistic range of free-of-charge activities and services designed to enhance wellbeing and coping skills. Weekly group sessions include mindfulness programmes, arts and crafts, and social gatherings over tea or coffee, while one-to-one drop-in support offers a safe space to discuss concerns.
