Anam Croí – formerly Claregalway & District Day Care Centre – is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting older people in Claregalway and the surrounding district. As a registered charity and Approved Housing Body, it offers a welcoming Day Centre where seniors can socialise, take part in a variety of activities and enjoy a warm, caring environment. In addition, Anam Croí manages fourteen independent‑living homes across Gort na Creige, Cregboy and Claregalway, providing safe, purpose‑designed housing that promotes autonomy and community.

The charity’s work is underpinned by its vibrant Charity Shop, run by local volunteers, whose profits are channelled straight back into the day‑centre, housing and other support services.
