The Global Powerlifting Committee Company Limited By Guarantee (GPC) is an international governing body dedicated to the development and promotion of powerlifting worldwide. Acting as a central hub for national federations, the GPC organises major championships-including the upcoming GPC Worlds 2025 in Brazil-and provides live broadcasts across multiple platforms, ensuring fans and athletes can follow every valid attempt in real time.

A key part of the GPC's mission is to welcome new members and support existing affiliates. Recent announcements highlight the addition of the Moldovan Federation, with Virlan Alexandru appointed as the contact person and the GPC MD/PMR representing the interests of Moldova and Transnistria.
