Coiste Curam Leanai Phort Lairge

Coiste Cúram Leanaí Phort Láirge is a Waterford-based organisation dedicated to developing, supporting and enhancing high-quality early learning and care, school-age childcare and child-minding services. Guided by the values of respect, openness, integrity and quality, the committee works with parents, childminders and providers to ensure that early years provision is integrated, accessible and affordable throughout the Waterford community.

The committee offers a range of practical services, including a regularly updated vacancy board for preschool and child-minder placements, a dedicated jobs notice board for early-years educators, and a comprehensive training programme for aspiring and current childminders. Their online training events, held throughout the year, equip participants with the skills needed to register and deliver safe, nurturing care.

By acting as a central hub for information, training and employment opportunities, Coiste Cúram Leanaí Phort Láirge helps families and childcare professionals alike to navigate the early-years sector with confidence and ease.
