The Burren Lowlands CLG

The Burren Lowlands Company Limited by Guarantee (The Burren Lowlands CLG) is a community-led organisation dedicated to showcasing the cultural and landscape heritage of the Burren Lowlands - a stretch from the Slieve Aughties to the Burren Highlands and from Kinvara to Crusheen. By promoting the region's ancient monuments, Celtic-Revival literary legacy and vibrant contemporary life, the CLG works to make the area a better place to live, work and visit.

Through its three-pillar strategy of tourism, community and enterprise, the CLG offers visitors a wealth of curated experiences: itineraries for cycling, hiking, paddle-boarding and fishing; recommendations for family-run hotels, farmhouses, B&Bs and eco-sites; and guides to local markets, cafés and artisan shops. It also supports remote-working initiatives and helps local entrepreneurs connect with wider audiences, reinforcing the Lowlands as a hub of sustainable rural development.
