Nbi Deployment DAC

National Broadband Ireland (NBI Deployment Designated Activity Company) is the state‑backed organisation driving the rollout of high‑speed fibre broadband to every corner of the island. Its mission is simple yet ambitious: to bring reliable, ultra‑fast internet to homes, farms, businesses, schools and other premises – no matter how remote or rural – so that people can stay connected to what matters most.

The company’s core service is the design, construction and delivery of a nationwide fibre network. To date NBI has completed over 568 000 designs and has more than 161 000 premises already connected, covering 1.1 million people, 565 000 residential premises, 65 000 farms, 26 000 businesses and 672 schools. Through an interactive rollout map, indicative connection dates and a “find a service provider” tool, customers can easily check their status, pre‑order services and stay informed as the network expands.

Based in Citywest, Ireland, NBI works in every county, coordinating survey, design and build phases to ensure that no area is left behind. Its approachable, transparent communication style keeps communities up‑to‑date while delivering the digital infrastructure that underpins modern life.
