Cloughjordan Circus Club CLG

Cloughjordan Circus Club Company Limited by Guarantee is a registered charity that provides circus arts programmes for rural young people in Tipperary and the surrounding Midlands region. Founded in 2010, the organisation offers an alternative social and creative outlet for children and young people aged eight to twenty-five years. The club promotes social connections, creative expression, and physical wellbeing through inclusive and participatory circus activities.

The company delivers weekly youth circus workshops during term time, outdoor wire walking classes on alternate weekends, and summer camps. Members also participate in performance projects for parades, festivals, and theatres, as well as trips, exchanges, and peer education leadership programmes. The organisation has expanded its outreach to offer workshops in local schools and youth groups. Day-to-day operations are managed by the artistic director, who serves as lead artist on all projects, while freelance artists co-deliver core programmes and intensive masterclasses.
