Company Description

The Irish Romanian Cultural & Business Development Association (eiro) is a non-profit company limited by guarantee that brings together Irish and Romanian communities through cultural, social and commercial initiatives. As the fastest-growing association of its kind in Ireland, eiro creates opportunities for anyone interested in exploring the two cultures, while also fostering trade and economic collaboration between the two nations.

Members benefit from a suite of services that include a comprehensive contacts database, regular newsletters, and up-to-date information on rights, entitlements and obligations for Romanians living in Ireland. eiro organises a lively calendar of events - from children's workshops and musical recitals to national-day celebrations and business networking meetings - and actively facilitates business opportunities and partnerships across the island. The association also supports consular activities, such as travelling consular services in Limerick, and contributes to humanitarian efforts, for example by raising funds for the Red Cross in Ukraine.

Operating nationwide, eiro's inclusive, open-door ethos encourages participation from both Irish and Romanian individuals and organisations, helping to weave a richer, more connected cultural and economic fabric throughout Ireland.
