Range Therapy CLG

Range Therapy Company Limited by Guarantee is an Irish social-enterprise dedicated to turning used electric-vehicle (EV) batteries into affordable, high-performance energy-storage solutions. By harvesting large-capacity second-life battery packs from Irish EVs and re-integrating the modules, Battery Management System and CAN monitoring, the company creates a range of products that let households, farms and small businesses generate, store and use clean power on their own terms.

Key offerings include the Range Wall - a home-or-business power-wall that stores cheap, night-time electricity; the Agri Wall, a larger-scale system for agricultural users; the mobile Range Trailer, a plug-and-play backup unit; and Range Swap, which extends an EV's range while providing a home-storage pack. Complementary services cover rigorous battery-pack testing, real-time monitoring, consultancy on EV and storage applications, and participation in virtual power-plant schemes that can feed aggregated capacity to the grid.

Targeting anyone from eco-conscious homeowners and green-focused SMEs to EV owners seeking longer journeys, Range Therapy aims to empower Irish consumers to become active managers of locally generated energy, reducing both costs and carbon emissions. Their work has been featured on RTE One's "Heated" programme and in the Irish Times, underscoring their growing influence in Ireland's circular-economy transition.
