Gearbox Centre West Engineering Ltd

Gearbox Centre West Engineering Limited is a specialist engineering firm that rebuilds and repairs manual and automatic gearboxes for cars, vans and 4x4s. Founded in 2013 by Joe Courtney, the company has grown into one of Ireland's leading gearbox repair centres, serving both the public and garages nationwide. Their workshop is fully equipped to handle everything from diagnostics and removal to complete overhauls, dual-clutch systems, dual-mass flywheels and programming.

The business's core expertise lies in DSG and mechatronic repair for Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda and Seat vehicles. Gearbox Centre West stocks a large range of common dual-clutch parts, enabling rapid turn-arounds and offering reconditioned mechatronic units at a fraction of the cost of new components. Services include automatic transmission servicing, DSG gearbox diagnostics, mechatronic testing and overhaul, as well as the sale of reconditioned mechatronics.

With a strong focus on minimising downtime and delivering excellent value, Gearbox Centre West combines high-quality workmanship with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring rebuilt gearboxes perform as well as, or better than, new units.
