Decahydron Limited is an Irish company focused on unlocking Earth’s geology to fuel a carbon-negative future. It extracts naturally occurring hydrogen, a clean energy source, from deep underground ultramafic rock formations, while using the same rock to mineralise CO₂, turning industrial emissions permanently into stone. The company’s proprietary induced-generation methodology injects super-saturated CO₂ into these formations, displacing trapped hydrogen for extraction and purification while simultaneously mineralising the CO₂. Decahydron highlights advantages including sustainability, scale, permanence, duality, and efficiency, and collaborates with partners in investment capital, science, and industry.
