Mullingar Chamber of Commerce Company Limited By Guarantee is the leading business representative body in Westmeath, bringing together more than 200 member firms that collectively employ over 4,000 staff across the municipal district. Its core purpose is to champion Mullingar as a vibrant place to live, work and invest, driving both inward investment and the growth of the town's daytime and night-time economies. The Chamber achieves this through active advocacy, strategic partnerships with Westmeath County Council, the IDA, Enterprise Ireland and other key stakeholders, and by sitting on the county's Strategic Policy and Local Community Development Committees.

In addition to its advocacy role, the Chamber offers a suite of practical services for local businesses, including a members' directory, networking events and the newly launched Mullingar Gift Card - a digital and physical voucher scheme designed to boost sales for participating retailers. It also organises the region's largest winter event, attracting over 100,000 visitors, and runs initiatives such as the Shopfront Enhancement Grant Scheme. Operated by a board of directors and supported by an office administrator, the non-profit organisation is dedicated to making Mullingar a thriving hub for enterprise and community alike.
