Liffey Partnership (formerly Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership) is a community‑driven organisation founded to tackle long‑term unemployment and poverty in Dublin’s inner‑city suburbs. Its core mission is to bring people together to build a fairer, more inclusive society, giving diverse voices a platform to be heard, respected and celebrated.

The partnership runs a wide‑range of programmes that support individuals at every stage of life. Employment support helps job‑seekers develop skills and secure sustainable work, while education initiatives provide learning opportunities for all ages. Aspiring entrepreneurs can access practical advice and mentorship to start a business, and parents benefit from dedicated parenting workshops. Health and wellbeing services promote mental and physical resilience, and community‑building projects foster stronger neighbourhood ties. Recent activities include a “Finding Your Voice” workshop, grant‑application support, and advocacy around local housing developments such as the Cherry Orchard Avenue scheme.

Rooted in the Ballyfermot, Chapelizod and Cherry Orchard areas, Liffey Partnership works closely with local schools, councils and voluntary groups, ensuring that support is tailored, accessible and responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.
