Baile Dulra Cuideachta Faoi Theorainn Rathaiochta

Baile Dulra Cuideachta Faoi Theorainn Ráthaíochta, known as The Hollies, is a West Cork-based centre for learning that focuses on practical sustainable-living skills. Drawing on more than twenty years of experience, the organisation creates and showcases low-impact building techniques such as cob and timber-frame structures, alongside food gardens, dry-sanitation systems and innovative land-management practices.

The Hollies offers a diverse programme of training courses for individuals, schools and community groups, using its gardens, woodland, wetland and on-site buildings as living classrooms. Gift vouchers are available for any of the courses, and the centre welcomes visits by appointment or on open days. Its work places a strong emphasis on nature connection, promoting biodiversity, sustainable woodland use and a holistic, respectful relationship with the environment.

As a charitable educational organisation, The Hollies is dedicated to sharing knowledge, inspiring participants and fostering a more sustainable future through hands-on experience and community engagement.
