Seven Heads Walk CLG

Seven Heads Walk Company Limited by Guarantee is the charitable organisation that stewards the Seven Heads Peninsula walking route on the West Cork coastline. Since its launch in 1998, the company has developed and maintained a 42.5 km network of circular and return walks that link Timoleague, Courtmacsherry, Barryroe and the surrounding villages, offering visitors a flexible way to explore the area's dramatic cliffs, sandy bays and fertile farmland.

The walk is promoted through the official "Seven Heads Walks" booklet, which details a variety of routes suitable for different levels of time and fitness. Along the way walkers encounter historic sites, diverse flora such as fuchsia-lined hedgerows, and a rich birdlife that includes rare choughs and little egrets. The company's work is underpinned by strong community support - local landowners, residents and sponsors have helped keep the paths open and well-signposted, ensuring a welcoming experience for both locals and tourists alike.
