Beara Tourism & Development Association (Ltd by Guarantee) is the community-driven body that showcases the natural, cultural and historic riches of the Beara Peninsula in southwest Ireland. By curating an online hub of information on the Ring of Beara, the Beara Way, cycling and bridle trails, as well as local attractions, eateries and accommodation, the association helps visitors plan memorable journeys through this rugged Atlantic landscape.
The organisation also supports local businesses, inviting hotels, B&Bs and other providers to feature their services on the site, and it promotes special events such as the 2026 O'Sullivan Clan World-Record gathering in Castletownbere. Through these initiatives Beara Tourism aims to boost sustainable tourism, celebrate the peninsula's Bronze-Age heritage and vibrant maritime traditions, and ensure that the "wild wonders" of Beara remain accessible to travellers from across Ireland and beyond.
