The Irish Quarter Horse Association CLG

The Irish Quarter Horse Association CLG (IQHA) is the national body championing western riding in Ireland. As a company limited by guarantee, it brings together enthusiasts of the quarter-horse and western disciplines, offering a welcoming community for competitors, leisure riders and anyone keen to explore the sport.

Members enjoy reduced fees for all IQHA-run events and direct support from experienced instructors, making it easier to take part in competitions, training sessions and social rides. The association also provides a 10 % discount at Claremorris Saddlery, helping riders source quality tack and equipment at a better price. All events are open to participants of any breed and across a range of western riding disciplines, reflecting IQHA's inclusive ethos.

By fostering a vibrant network of riders and promoting accessible, well-organised activities, the Irish Quarter Horse Association plays a key role in growing western riding throughout the country.
