Independent Analytical Supplies Limited (IAS Laboratories) is an Irish-based specialist laboratory offering a comprehensive suite of analytical services for water, soil, environment and agriculture. Drawing on more than 30 years of expertise that began in the Irish Sugar Factory, IAS now operates as part of the Cawood Scientific Group and is INAB-accredited to ISO 17025:2017 (reg. 275T).

The laboratory provides end-to-end testing for domestic and commercial water supplies, including bacterial counts (E. coli, coliforms, enterococci), hardness, iron and manganese, with sampling kits and clear result interpretation. Its soil-analysis portfolio delivers detailed nutrient and health assessments to support efficient fertiliser use and nutrient-management planning. Environmental capabilities extend to sludge, effluent, compost and air monitoring, covering heavy metals, nutrients, microbiology and dry-matter content. In the agricultural arena, IAS analyses herbage, silage, milk, hair and blood, offering mineral scans that help farmers fine-tune herd nutrition and prevent health disorders.
