Ballygallon Stud (Ireland) Ltd

Ballygallon Stud is a privately‑run thoroughbred breeding operation nestled in the scenic village of Inistioge on the banks of the River Nore, Co. Kilkenny. Since 1986 the stud has built a reputation for producing high‑quality racehorses, drawing on a small, carefully selected band of elite broodmares and pairing them with leading stallions such as Sadler’s Wells, Bering and Green Desert. The result has been a string of notable graduates – including Irish Correspondent, Beckett, Aragorn and Double Trigger – that have performed admirably on the track and at auction.

The stud’s core services centre on breeding, training and the sale of top‑class thoroughbreds. All facilities are purpose‑built to the highest specifications, ensuring optimal care and development for each horse. Ballygallon’s catalogue of current yearlings and proven racers reflects its commitment to excellence, catering to owners, trainers and racing syndicates seeking well‑bred, race‑ready talent. With decades of experience and a genuine passion for horse welfare, Ballygallon Stud continues to shape the future of Irish racing from its tranquil Kilkenny base.
