Bekind (IRL) CLG

Bekind Ireland is a registered Irish charity, founded in 2007, dedicated to alleviating poverty for street children in Kolkata, India. Through its flagship project, the Bekind Boys’ Home, the organisation provides a safe haven for up to 25 vulnerable boys—many of whom are orphaned, abandoned or living at risk on the streets and in slums. The home delivers essential care, including nutritious meals, clothing, shelter and a structured education programme, giving the children the chance to experience a stable, nurturing childhood.

Since its inception, Bekind Ireland has supported more than 200 children and raised in excess of €1 million, funding a range of initiatives that address food security, health, schooling and personal development. The charity also runs regular fundraising events and offers volunteer opportunities, enabling supporters in Ireland and beyond to contribute directly to its mission. Based in Dublin, Bekind Ireland combines community‑driven fundraising with on‑the‑ground projects in Kolkata, creating a tangible bridge of hope between the two regions.
