Bracken Hill Farm Ltd

Bracken Hill Pheasantries is a family‑run game farm that operates two premier shooting estates – Bracken Hill in County Donegal, Ireland, and Castlesteads in Cumbria, United Kingdom. The farm specialises in driven shoots, offering seasonal pheasant, duck and partridge days at Bracken Hill, while Castlesteads delivers high‑drive pheasant and partridge bags set against the historic backdrop of Hadrian’s Wall. Both shoots welcome non‑shooting guests, allowing visitors to enjoy the spectacular scenery and the tradition of the sport.

In addition to the shooting experiences, Bracken Hill maintains a dedicated hatchery that produces high‑quality pheasant, partridge and mallard chicks and poults. These birds are supplied to gamekeepers, shoot managers and private clients across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK, supporting a wide network of shooting estates and wildlife organisations.

With a reputation for meticulous bird rearing and expertly managed shoots, Bracken Hill Pheasantries serves both seasoned shooters and newcomers alike, delivering a blend of heritage, hospitality and top‑tier game quality.
