East Meets West Emporium Ltd

East Meets West Emporium is a small, West Cork‑based retailer that brings the rich craft traditions of India into Irish homes. Working on a “local to local, globally” ethos, the company sources each item directly from small artisans and family‑run workshops, ensuring fair prices for the makers and ethical, transparent pricing for customers. Their curated collection includes hand‑crafted teak furniture—ranging from antique damchiya chests to restored cupboards and bespoke tables—vibrant Jaipur blue‑pottery, and one‑of‑a‑kind mosaic glass lamps created by painstakingly applying hundreds of coloured glass pieces to a clear base.

Beyond the product range, East Meets West offers a personalised service that connects buyers with the stories behind each piece. Visitors can explore the makers’ journeys through blog posts, buying‑trip diaries and podcasts, and can request bespoke items such as custom‑finished teak or unique pottery. Whether furnishing a living‑room, selecting a distinctive gift, or adding a splash of colour with cushions and rugs, the Emporium serves design‑savvy customers who value craftsmanship, sustainability and a genuine connection between Ireland and India.
