The Clare Heritage & Genealogical Centre

The Clare Heritage & Genealogical Centre is a specialist research service dedicated to uncovering the family histories of those with roots in County Clare. Born from the pioneering work of the late Dr Náoise Cleary in the 1970s, the centre collates and indexes baptismal, marriage and other parish records from all 47 Clare parishes, turning a wealth of archival material into clear, searchable genealogical data.

Clients can commission a fully researched Family History Report, which we tailor to each request, providing a narrative of ancestors, thematic insights and contextual stories that bring the past to life. Whether you are an overseas descendant seeking a connection to Corofin, or a local family looking to document its lineage, the centre offers professional yet approachable expertise in genealogy, record‑indexing and heritage storytelling.

Based in Church Street, Corofin, Co. Clare, the Clare Heritage & Genealogical Centre continues Dr Cleary’s legacy by helping people worldwide discover and celebrate their Irish ancestry.
