The Blues Creamery, based in Newtown in the Glen of Aherlow, County Tipperary, is a family‑run artisan cheese maker dedicated to turning the rich, grass‑fed milk of the region into a diverse range of handcrafted cheeses. From raw‑milk blue‑veined varieties such as Aherlow Blue (cow’s milk) and Coolmary (sheep’s milk) to semi‑hard, flavoured and smoked selections—including the signature Muskery range with fenugreek, nettles or wild garlic—the Creamery showcases the full spectrum of textures and flavours that can be achieved from cows, goats and sheep.

The business supplies its cheeses to farmers’ markets, independent restaurants and specialist retailers across Ireland, the United Kingdom and France, and also creates bespoke products for individual clients.
