Dundalk Dog Rescue CLG

Dundalk Dog Rescue Company Limited By Guarantee is a charitable rescue organisation dedicated to giving unwanted dogs a second chance. Operating out of Dundalk in County Louth, the rescue works to save dogs listed for euthanasia in local pounds, rehabilitate them and find permanent, loving homes while promoting responsible dog ownership throughout the community.

The charity offers a range of ways for the public to help. Supporters can set up a monthly donation, sponsor an individual dog or even a kennel - the latter covering cleaning, heating and maintenance for up to 40 dogs a year. Additional fundraising ideas such as coffee mornings, sponsored runs or raffles are encouraged, and a wish-list of essential supplies - from food to cleaning items - allows donors to contribute directly to day-to-day costs. Foster carers form the backbone of the operation, providing temporary homes and personalised care for dogs during their transition.

Through these initiatives, Dundalk Dog Rescue not only reduces the number of dogs facing euthanasia but also builds a network of caring volunteers and donors committed to improving the welfare of dogs across the region.
