Ceide Coast Community Company Limited by Guarantee is a locally‑driven, not‑for‑profit organisation founded five years ago to halt the long‑standing decline of Ballycastle, Co. Mayo, and to spark a new era of economic and social vitality for the north‑coast community. By bringing together residents, businesses and public bodies, the company works to transform the area’s natural assets into sustainable opportunities.

The group’s core activities centre on community‑led development projects. Highlights include the Céide‑to‑Downpatrick Head Coastal Walk, which promotes eco‑tourism along the spectacular shoreline; the Céide Coast Eco Campus, a hub for environmental education and innovation; a Community Solar Farm Project that delivers locally generated renewable energy; and the redevelopment of Killerduff Pier, enhancing both heritage and marine access.
