Cuan Beo Environmental CLG

Cuan Beo Environmental Company Limited by Guarantee is a not-for-profit organisation devoted to "reconnecting the land and the sea" in Galway Bay. Drawing on scientific research, heritage knowledge and community enthusiasm, Cuan Beo develops education programmes, organises scientific and cultural events and runs campaigns that highlight the importance of protecting the Bay's marine resources.

The charity's core specialisations include native oyster restoration, hands-on education and outreach for schools and the wider public, and policy and political engagement aimed at improving habitat, species and heritage outcomes.
