The Silver Spear Gin Company Ltd

The Silver Spear Gin Company Limited is an artisan spirits producer based in the scenic county of Carlow, nestled at the foothills of Mount Leinster. Drawing on a historic link to Captain John Henry Watson—who was presented with the eponymous Silver Spear in 1876—the company crafts a traditional, handcrafted Irish gin that celebrates both heritage and contemporary craftsmanship.

Specialising in small‑batch distillation, the brand’s flagship Silver Spear Gin is built from a carefully balanced marriage of fourteen botanicals, sourced from four continents to ensure a consistent, delicate flavour profile throughout the year. The gin offers fresh citrus notes, a refined juniper backbone, and subtle hints of coriander, aniseed and warming spices, all bottled by hand for a premium, boutique experience. Whether enjoyed neat, in a classic gin & tonic, or as the base for inventive cocktails, Silver Spear Gin delivers a distinctive, elegant spirit for discerning drinkers across Ireland and beyond.
