Badchlos Ros A'Mhil Teoranta

BÁDCHLÓS ROS A’MHÍL TEORANTA operates the premier Aran Island Ferries, providing safe, comfortable and award‑winning boat journeys to Ireland’s iconic Aran Islands. From the Rossaveel ferry terminal in Connemara – just 37 km west of Galway City – and seasonally from Galway City itself, the company runs year‑round services to Inis Mór, Inis Meáin and Inis Oírr, with a swift 40‑minute crossing to the largest island and a 90‑minute voyage from the city.

Beyond the core ferry routes, Aran Island Ferries enhances the visitor experience with a daily shuttle bus from Galway’s Victoria Place, on‑board refreshments ranging from tea and coffee to a full bar, and optional bike hire and guided mini‑bus tours on the islands. The operation has been recognised as ‘Best Boat Tour in Ireland’ and offers a flexible refund policy – a full refund is granted for cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure.

The company keeps travellers informed through a regular newsletter and provides convenient parking at the Rossaveel pier, making it the go‑to service for tourists, families and locals seeking to explore the rugged beauty, historic forts and vibrant culture of the Aran archipelago.
