Business summary

HERD Butchery Limited is a family‑run online butcher founded in 2021 by Robert Mee, who returned to his native Ireland after a decade perfecting his craft in Toronto. Based in the village of Butlersbridge, County Cavan, the business brings the tradition of a local shop to a national audience, offering sustainably‑raised, fully traceable meats sourced from trusted small‑batch farmers.

The range includes free‑range Irish pork, free‑range chicken, locally reared lamb, premium beef from Mee’s Family Farm in Cloverhill, and a selection of house‑made sausages and charcuterie. Customers can order online for express refrigerated delivery across the Republic, with orders placed by 10 pm on Tuesday arriving the following Friday, or they may collect their cuts directly from the shop. HERD Butchery prides itself on a full‑animal approach, ensuring every product meets high standards of quality, flavour and ethical provenance.

Whether you are a home cook seeking gourmet ingredients or a retailer looking for wholesale supplies, HERD Butchery combines expertise, passion and personal service to deliver tender, delicious meat that elevates any recipe.
