The Enniscorthy International Forum DAC

Drawing on a strategic yet agile approach, the Forum works across five core pillars – Buildings and the Built Environment, Energy, Diplomacy, Health and Education – to forge global‑local partnerships that turn worldwide challenges into tangible, community‑based solutions. Through its Buildings Action Coalition, the Forum delivers practical expertise on the decarbonisation of new‑build and retrofit projects, offering monthly webinars (BAC Learning) and convening high‑level summits such as the 2024 Buildings Action Coalition Summit held at the Riverside Hotel in Enniscorthy, County Wexford. It also produces authoritative reports, surveys and metrics of success that guide policymakers, industry leaders and civil‑society groups toward real progress. Rooted in Enniscorthy, the Forum serves as a collaborative hub for United Nations bodies, national administrations, industry coalitions and local communities, helping them to expand the reach and quality of sustainable development initiatives that endure.
