Urlingford Preschool for Little Learners Limited is a long‑standing early‑years and after‑school provider, celebrating 33 years of nurturing young minds since its establishment in 1991. Based in Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny, the centre delivers a safe, play‑focused environment that follows the Aistear and HighScope curricula, helping children develop confidence, imagination and foundational pre‑reading and pre‑math skills.

The centre offers a range of flexible programmes: a statutory ECCE preschool (Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑12 pm) with an additional afternoon session from September 2025, part‑time preschool extending to 1.30 pm, and after‑school care (1.30 pm‑5.30 pm) for children aged 4‑12, including homework clubs and hot meals. Seasonal summer camps run for 5‑7 weeks, providing age‑appropriate arts, sports, music and outdoor activities. All services are eligible for the National Childcare Scheme subsidy, with transparent daily fees before subsidy.

Renowned for its child‑centred approach, the staff are praised for warmth, professionalism and the rich resources available both indoors and in the spacious outdoor area, ensuring each child receives personalised care and a joyful learning experience.
