The Mood Designs is a handcrafted ceramics studio founded in 2012 by a creative couple who blend Irish inspiration with contemporary design. Based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, the studio produces a diverse range of pottery – from delicate brooches and richly glazed bowls to framed ceramic pieces – each finished with a signature glaze and glass coating that reflects the natural beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way.

Beyond their own collection, The Mood Designs operates a Craft and Design shop that showcases a curated selection of Irish‑made pottery, glass, wood, jewellery, textiles and art prints, supporting local makers. The studio also offers hands‑on ceramic workshops for adults, children and families, a “Paint a Pot” experience where customers personalise pre‑made pieces, and private bookings for birthdays, team‑building events and school groups of up to twelve students.
