Feeneys Equestrian Centre Ltd

Feeney’s Equestrian Centre is a family‑run riding school with more than 30 years of experience, proudly A.I.R.E.‑approved and situated just a five‑minute drive from Galway city and Salthill, on the edge of the Wild Atlantic Way in the rugged Connemara countryside. The centre welcomes riders of all ages and abilities, offering private, semi‑private and group lessons that are matched with suitable horses or ponies – from beginner to experienced levels – and providing all necessary helmets and boots for a safe, enjoyable session.

Beyond lessons, Feeney’s specialises in scenic treks, therapeutic riding programmes and a full calendar of seasonal pony camps – Easter, summer, Halloween and Christmas – as well as bespoke livery packages for owners seeking tailored care for their horses or ponies. The facility also hosts equestrian holidays, sells ponies and horses, and runs a vibrant community hub with regular news, offers and volunteer opportunities. With qualified instructors on site at all times, Feeney’s Equestrian Centre combines professional expertise with a warm, family‑friendly atmosphere, making it the closest and most comprehensive livery yard to Galway.
