Irish Equine Veterinary Association (IEVA) CLG

The Irish Equine Veterinary Association (IEVA) is a professional body dedicated to supporting and advancing the interests of equine veterinary practitioners across Ireland. As a company limited by guarantee, IEVA provides a collaborative platform for veterinarians, researchers and industry partners to share knowledge, set standards and promote best practice in equine health and welfare.

A cornerstone of IEVA’s activity is the organisation of specialist events, most notably the Irish Equine Reproduction Symposium, scheduled for 28‑29 January 2026. This two‑day conference brings together leading experts to discuss the latest advances in equine reproduction, offering attendees cutting‑edge lectures, practical workshops and networking opportunities. In addition to the symposium, IEVA maintains a regular calendar of upcoming events, offers membership benefits for veterinary professionals, and publishes the latest news and developments within the equine sector.

Through its membership scheme, IEVA fosters a vibrant community where members can access educational resources, contribute to policy discussions and stay informed about industry trends. The association’s commitment to education, research and professional development makes it a pivotal hub for anyone involved in the care and management of horses in Ireland.
