West Therm Construction Contractors Ltd

West Therm Construction Contractors is a family‑run building firm based in Lahardane, in the heart of North Mayo. Founded by seasoned builder Declan McAndrew, who brings more than 20 years of experience, the company has become a trusted name for friends, neighbours and the wider Mayo community, delivering new builds, extensions, renovations and full home reconstructions.

The firm’s core specialisation is ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) construction – a system that offers exceptional strength, energy efficiency and long‑term durability. West Therm’s expertise in ICF has proved especially valuable for families rebuilding after pyrite damage, providing homes that stand solid for generations. In addition to ICF projects, the team handles demolition, dry‑lining, complete refits and a full range of conventional building services, always with a focus on precision, quality and a personal, neighbourly approach.

Clients repeatedly praise the company’s professionalism, punctuality and “can‑do” attitude, noting the seamless coordination with engineers and subcontractors and the tangible savings from low heating requirements. West Therm Construction is committed to building not just houses, but safe, comfortable homes for the Mayo community now and for decades to come.
