Boyne Valley Cheese Limited is a family‑run artisan dairy situated on a working farm just outside Slane in the heart of County Meath’s Boyne Valley. Founded in 2010 by Michael and Jenny Finegan, the business builds on a third‑generation farming heritage, rearing cattle, cultivating crops and, most importantly, managing a herd of 250 dairy goats across four breeds – Saanen, Alpine, Toggenburg and Anglo‑Nubian.

Specialising in handcrafted goat‑milk cheeses, Boyne Valley produces the celebrated Boyne Valley Bán, a white cheese that has earned gold and the title of Best Irish Cheese at the British Cheese Awards, as well as three stars at the Great Taste Awards. Their Boyne Valley Blue, a richly flavoured blue cheese, boasts a bronze at the Irish Cheese Awards and a two‑star Gold at Great Taste.
