COGS Psychotherapy Limited is a specialist mental‑health practice dedicated to helping people untangle unhelpful cycles around food, eating and self‑criticism. Clients are supported to slow down, understand the emotional and sensory drivers of their eating patterns and develop kinder, more sustainable relationships with both body and mind. The practice offers remote, online therapy to clients throughout Ireland, the UK and internationally, as well as face‑to‑face sessions in Avoca, Co. Wicklow. Core specialisations include emotional, comfort and binge eating; restrictive food rules; the use of exercise to “earn” or “cancel out” meals; and the broader impacts of stress, anxiety, burnout and self‑criticism. A particular focus is placed on neurodivergent individuals – especially those with ADHD or autism – recognising how sensory sensitivities, difficulty recognising hunger cues and perfectionistic food rules can shape eating behaviour.
