Head First Psychology Services Ltd

Head First Psychology Services Limited, led by Chartered Health Psychologist Dr Joe O’Brien, offers specialist, evidence‑based support that bridges the gap between psychology and health. Through a fully online platform, the practice assists individuals tackling a range of eating‑related challenges – from binge and emotional eating and breaking the dieting cycle, to navigating GLP‑1 medication, body‑image concerns and broader relationships with food.

In addition to client‑focused therapy, Head First provides professional development for health practitioners. This includes a two‑day Health Psychology in Practice training, one‑to‑one mentoring (either ongoing or as required) and bespoke consultancy services. Organisations benefit from the team’s expertise through consulting, seminars, webinars and tailored content creation that embed psychological principles into healthcare settings.

The service is complemented by the Head First Podcast, where Dr O’Brien interviews leading experts on the interplay of health and psychology, and an active Instagram presence that keeps followers informed and inspired. Whether you are an individual seeking personal change, a clinician aiming to enhance practice, or an organisation looking to integrate psychology into its care model, Head First delivers approachable, professional support every step of the way.
