Teanga Technologies Teoranta

Teanga Technologies Teoranta operates Teanga, an Irish-language learning platform for secondary schools. The platform supports all Irish learners in secondary school through a library of over 100 short video lessons (15-25 minutes) for every level, along with high-quality resources and activities that provide immediate feedback. It also offers live weekly classes with a teacher via Zoom, an AI language assistant called Bríd for speaking practice, and the Sárghael leadership programme, which selects four or five students per school to promote Irish through events, a conversation circle, and a recorded project. The platform includes learning resources for state exam preparation, monitoring tools for principals or designated staff, and classes for school staff or exempt students. It supports the Department of Education's 2025 Action Plan for Irish in English-medium schools.
