Loreto Centre Crumlin CLG

Loreto Centre Crumlin Company Limited by Guarantee operates as part of the Irish Province of the Loreto Sisters, formally known as the Congregatio Jesu. The organisation describes itself as companions of Jesus in mission, living and working worldwide to serve communities where needs are greatest. In Ireland, the group is well known for its schools, but its ministry extends into various other sectors. Sisters work in hospitals, prisons, and chaplaincy roles, while also providing prayer and retreat ministry, counselling, psychotherapy services, and youth ministry. The organisation emphasises Ignatian Spirituality, seeking God in all things through prayer and discernment. It supports its global mission through Mary Ward International, a development network that assists the institute’s life and work across different lands and cultures. The company is a registered charity in Ireland. Its members are women at the heart of the Church, called to follow Christ in a discipleship of love. They aim to labour with freedom and joy so that God may be glorified in all things. The organisation invites the public to share prayer intentions, which are brought to daily prayer by the Sisters. Through its diverse ministries, the group continues the vision of its founder to serve others with alacrity and joy.
