Shabra Plastics & Packaging Limited is a leading Irish waste-plastic recycler and closed-loop manufacturer based in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. The company collects and reprocesses industrial, commercial and post-consumer plastic waste-including PET, HDPE and LDPE-through a fully integrated system of automated sorting, washing, drying and extrusion. Each year Shabra recycles more than 10,000 tonnes of plastic, turning it into high-quality recyclate that forms the raw material for its own range of polythene bags, sacks and tubing.

Beyond recycling, Shabra supplies a broad portfolio of disposable items, janitorial supplies and catering-grade chemicals, all produced to customer specifications and delivered across Ireland. The firm also champions the circular economy by manufacturing all its bags from in-house recyclate and by running educational programmes, school tours and recycling competitions to raise environmental awareness.
