Cobh Heritage Trust CLG

Cobh Heritage Trust Company Limited By Guarantee runs the Cobh Heritage Centre, a purpose-built museum in Cobh, County Cork, that brings the story of Irish emigration and maritime history to life. Housed in the town's beautifully restored Victorian railway station, the centre's permanent exhibition - "The Queenstown Story" - traces three centuries of departure from the port, from 17th-century transports to the Americas and the Caribbean, through convict voyages to Australia, and on to the tragic sinkings of the Titanic and the Lusitania.

The trust offers a range of visitor experiences, including guided tours such as the Queenstown Story, the Cobh Cultural Tour (which combines the Titanic Trail with the main exhibition), and the East Cork's Treasures Pass linking the centre with Fota House & Gardens. It also provides specialised group and school tours, and a Genealogical Family History Research service where a professional genealogist delivers a customised analysis of Irish records for a fee.

By blending compelling artefacts with personal narratives, Cobh Heritage Centre delivers an engaging, educational experience for tourists, families, school groups and anyone interested in Ireland's global legacy.
